About Us
Out of the Woods Winery is a MacLaughlin Family collaboration. We carry a selection of wine, cider and mead from wineries in Wisconsin and all over the world. If you are a fan of the ol’ HookStone red wines, we bottled the last of the Panfish Port-style Wine; once it’s gone it’s gone! We’ve made a selection of whites, fruit wine, meads and ciders, all in bottles and available to taste and purchase. What’s New
We closed the kitchen for the summer but are open to folks bringing food into the shop to enjoy with some wine. We’re looking to open the kitchen again by October, offering meat and cheese plates and baked brie. On the wine front, we’re introducing blackberry, strawberry rhubarb and watermelon wines, as well as a semi-sweet red. Look for those to be in bottles by October as well. Late summer/fall hours will be Wednesday through Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday noon to 5pm. Fridays, noon to 7pm. And Saturday, 10am to 7pm. Stop by for a bottle to go or a glass of wine, conversation and good company. We’d love to see you.
Patricia MacLaughlin Gallery
Out of the Woods Winery, in partnership with Art Beat of Hayward, is proud to house a gallery created in honor of our loving mother and gifted painter, Patricia MacLaughlin. The gallery will feature four exhibits per year.
We are currently featuring an exhibit by local artist, Chimakwa Nibawii. A limited selection of the works can be seen on our digital Gallery Page. Stop by the gallery to enjoy a glass of wine, cider or mead and experience the whole show in person.
